Stowe Mountain Bike Academy Private Lessons
One-on-one instruction with SMBA coaches is an incredible way to accelerate your mountain bike skills! In this private or custom small group setting, we’ll work with you to design a personalized lesson plan based on your experience and goals.
Lessons can be scheduled for 1, 2, 3 or 4 hours! Looking for a full-day of instructed guided ride? We can do that too!
Whether it is your first time on a mountain bike, or you are an advanced rider, our coaches are here to to help you reach your riding potential. Coaches work with cross country, enduro/down hill, gravel/road, and bike park style riding and features, and can also work to develop/sharpen core fundamental skills or fine tune advanced techniques.
Getting ready for a race? Longterm coaching and training plans are also available.
Private Lessons
Adult Private Lesson Rates
1 Participant — $75/hour
2 Participants — $65/hour per person
3 Participants — $55/hour per person
4 Participants — $40/hour per person

**Trip fee of $10 will be added for guided rides or private lessons outside of Stowe. A $25 trip fee will be added for guided rides and private lesson services meeting beyond a 30 mile drive.
Required Equipment
Recently serviced mountain bike or demo mountain bike from a local bike shop.
Helmet.
Sunglasses, sunblock, bike gloves (as needed).
Hydration pack and/or water bottle.
Trail snacks.
Signed liability waiver.

Rental Bikes: Rentals are not included in the cost of this registration. SMBA has partnered with Ranch Camp Bike Shop to reserve discounted bike rentals online. Subject to availability, save 15% on a daily or weekly rental with SMBA enrollment.
Bike Rentals
All bike rentals are through Ranch Camp Bike Shop located at 311 Mountain Road in Stowe. For questions regarding rentals please call 802-253-2753 to reach the bike shop.
