Stowe Mountain Bike Academy Clinics

Coach Rosy instructing an enduro clinic at Bolton Valley

Build Skills. Gain Confidence.

Whether it is your first time on a mountain bike, or you are an advanced rider, our coaches are here to help you reach your riding potential.

At all skill levels, our clinics promote a positive learning environment and help riders overcome mental barriers to tackle new terrain in a safe and efficient manner.

In addition to our skill clinics, our coaches work with cross country, enduro/down hill, gravel/road, and bike park style riding and features, and work regularly with teams and groups to design custom clinics and training programs.

For more information on custom programs, please email info@stowemtb.com.

Women's Green Mountain Enduro Summit

Join us for our 2nd Annual Summit for intermediate to advanced riders at Bolton Valley Resort. We had so much fun last year, we decided to do it again!

If you're interested in improving skills on more technical terrain, drops and jumps, and working on overall technique for smoother, faster, more confident riding, this is the space for you. In addition to a weekend of skills clinics, we're offering workshops for preparation on and off the bike covering topics such as nutrition, bike maintenance, mental fitness, and bike body recovery. You will also get to enjoy local meals, lots of snacks, some fun swag bag items, and probably some good laughs with new company.

Lodging:

Not included in event tuition… But you have options!

• You may camp for FREE at Bolton in the lower lot where we will have a base camp set up.

The Nordic Center will be available for showers.
• We also have a room block at Bolton Valley

• Other local options for lodging around the surrounding areas

This event is limited to 12 riders (6:1 rider/coach ratio), to ensure a comfortable and safe group size for our participants and coaches.

Ranch Camp/SMBA MTB Clinic

New to mountain biking? These 2-hour clinics will focus on fundamental skills to create balance, stability, and control on your bike, so you can have more confidence and fun on the trails!

We'll safely move through off- and on-trail drills to work on areas such as proper bike/body position, braking practices, and shifting. Spots are first come first served and max out at 6 riders per session. We encourage all people who identify as women to join us.
Post-Clinic:

Two hours goes by fast! We're happy to do a Q&A for other intro to MTB questions that you may have after the clinic. This will take place at Ranch Camp, while enjoying some food, beverages, and good company!

Things to bring:

Well maintained hardtail or full suspension mountain bike, helmet, gloves, water bottle/hydration pack, snacks, weather dependent layers, other protective gear as you see fit (optional).
